TEST ANALYSIS

TEST ANALYSIS

Every teacher should tests his own tests before applying them to the students. Here you have some valuable aspects to take into account at the moment of testing your own tips:

*Be clear on what you want to assess. There is nothing worse than a teacher who does not know where s/he is going.

*Establish your goals/targets or objectives. They will help you to see what you want to accomplish, or what you want your students to accomplish.

*Make sure they comply with the principle of assessment. Your test needs to comply at least with three of them to be effective.

*Share your tests with your colleagues. Even your family can help you out. I have an anecdote about this: A friend of mine told me that his mother, who is a Spanish teacher was preparing an exam to her students. He saw them on the table and tried to answer it, but he found out that there were so many ambiguous questions on it. He told his mom and she made the corrections, so from that they on she always ask him to double check before applying the exams.

WE ARE HUMANS, AND HUMANS MAKE MISTAKES, SO DON´T BE AFRAID TO ASK FOR  EXTERNAL OPINIONS!
